Hi,
I am a costume maker and started to find I was getting nasty painful skin splits near the finger nails. I would treat them, bind my fingertips up and keep them dry until they healed. Once they healed the process would start again. I had tried lots of intensive hand creams and nothing worked. I then found your product in Woolworths and low and behold I now have had split free finger tips for over 2 months. I use Tough Hands for maintenance now. I am also really happy that it is Australian made.
Everyone is quick to complain when things go wrong but not when things go well, hence my feedback.

This is my favourite hand care product! I’ve repurchased Tough Hands many times and I decided to try this Fragrance Free version when I saw it. I like its subtle smell, and it solves all my skin problems in one go! Absolutely in love.

My palms get really dry and rough in winter, fine lines start to appear, too. I’ve tried many hand creams, and none of them are as long-lasting as this one. After using Tough Hands Fragrance Free for a few nights, my skin became less rough. I would give my hands a little massage after applying for better absorbing. Definitely recommend for people with dry skin conditions like me.

The product is super intensive, so you only need to apply a pea sized amount to your hands (this will ensure that you are not applying too much, which may make the product feel tacky). Apply 2-3 times daily to clean, dry skin and at bedtime for 7 days then as necessary to maintain softer and younger-looking hands. It’s perfect for dry, cracked and rough/irritated hands. I have given it to my hubby to use and he loves it at he has calloused knuckles from being a tradie. It doesn’t have a perfume so Men will love this and the packaging itself is quite manly so they won’t feel weird using it. This Australian made product is easily acquired at Pharmacies and supermarkets nation wide for around $11.9 for the 150gm tube. It’s an opaque consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin and the flip top lid of the tube means it’s easy to store and won’t leak.

Between winter and the constant use of sanitiser, my hands are currently always dry. This hand cream is designed to give long-term moisture and protection, while being free from fragrances and other chemical nasties such as parabens and mineral oil. It also contains natural lactic acid which helps gently exfoliate away any dead skin cells and dryness, which I really like. Plus it makes it great for your hubby too. It is very concentrated so you only need the smallest amount – too much and you’re left with greasy and sticky hands, so it does take a little getting used to – but once you got it right, it does absorb quickly into the hands and leaves them feeling soft and hydrated. While I have dry hands, they are far from cracked or irritated, so I cannot speak of its claims of visibly working on that within a day, but used each night, you do wake with hands that are ready to face the day. Plus the tube is huge with 150ml for just $11.95, so it is great value too.

I’ve been a nurse for *mumble* decades. My hands are wrecked. Long-term use of antimicrobial soaps, hand sanitisers, handling of medications and other items that can damage the skin…add parenting and housekeeping etc, and you get the picture. I’m always desperately in need of a manicure, for the skin benefits, if not the pretty nails. HA! Pretty nails…a girl can dream. Anyhoo, DU’IT has created a fantastic product that delivers smoothing, hydration, repair, prevention of breakdown, and soothing of itching. There’s no way it can possibly fix decades of abuse, but it definitely works well, and fast. Applied after my shower and before bed, I find that a small quantity does a huge amount of work. My hands feel smoother, more comfortable, way more hydrated, and are less likely to tear if I catch my skin on something like a fingernail or sharp corner. My hangnails are repairing and my previously ragged thumbs aren’t catching on smooth fabrics anymore. Well done, Du’it. You’ve made a dream product for every nurse and tradie out there, as well as anyone else who needs help with their hands.

This is an amazing product. If you have ever suffered dry cracked hands in winter and hate the greasy feel of other lotions this will solve your problems. For fast repair I put it on at bed time and my hands are very noticeably better by morning. Good on sensitive skin I use it on my kids as well. It does fair well even when you have to do a lot of hand washing. I’ve been loving it for years!!
